I wrote about my experience participating in a new program called Women and Weights at Beacon Health & Fitness (BHF) in March to April 2021. The program consisted of two classes a week for six weeks. Each article was requested to be under 500 words and was published to BHF’s website, which was then linked in the weekly newsletter sent to BHF members.

I wrote with a conversational tone and chose to follow both my perspective as a 27-year-old woman and the perspective of a 56-year-old coworker. This spoke to different sectors of the intended target market for the program, which spanned from young moms to retired women looking for a way to stay fit and gain confidence.
